Stop
Popup Windows: although Java can be a neat added experience
to web pages, as an adult surfer you have probably experienced the nightmare
of forever opening windows, you close one, ten more open. This is caused
by Java, and a tactic desperate webmasters use to earn money due to the
ever decreasing amount of surfers willing to click on banners, which is
what is suppose to keep our websights alive.
So what
can you do? Turn the Java off while surfing. In Netscape you simply
choose edit - preferences - advanced - then uncheck the Java boxes, then
when you need Java (like on the cam sights, and some really, super neat
special effects) you can simply turn it back on. If you are using ie, then
go to www.netscape.com and download Netscape. Trust me billy boy is a control
freak, if he can get rid of Netscape options like turning off java won't
exist.
Still using Internet Copyrighter? Ok besides needing to seek out Phychological help, you can go to start - settings - controle pannel - internet / internet settings (or whatever Microsoft wishes to call it in your veresion) - advanced. Now down tward the bottom you will see a couple boxes for java (not available in eirler versions) uncheck them, and you will stop some java, but certianly not all.
Alternative Browsers
Opera Simple just download the nonjava version.
Enigma & NeoPlanet Really just enhancements for Internet Copyrighter
Hope this
helps you have a more pleasant surfing experience, and helps you
in not having to worry about clicking on banners. Enjoy
If you
would like to see a good example of this click on this link, they
will send a multitude of never-ending popup windows, but be warned, this
will crash older browsers, and older computers. Super
